A Pictures Worth a Thousand Words

Tiramisu
This was my first major triumph. It took over 4 hours and a ton of egg whites...but I made it!  For those of your who are unaware of what Tiramisu even is, it is ladyfinger cookies dipped in fresh espresso and layered with an amaizing creme mixture. Its a must try dessert. Either order at the next Italian restaurant your at or contact me and I can bake you some.
Rugalech
For the longest time I didn't even know what rugalech was. But one night a good friend of mine saw it in my cookbook and said she remembered her Nanny baking it for her. So one night we got together and made the old time recipe. Its a hungarian cookie that has a unique taste.

Lemon Buttermilk Cupcakes
These were silky smooth with a hint of lemon. They were the first dessert I baked from my new cookbook "The Culinary Institute of Americas: Baking at Home".

Oreo Ice Cream Cake
This was for my best friends birthday. She has an obbsession for oreo ice cream so this was the perfect dessert. It is a chocolate cake layered with oreo ice cream and iced with cool whip. It was suprisingly easy to make, however it is time consuming.

My First Wedding Cake
This was my brothers wedding cake that I baked at the young age of 18. It's a white cake layered with fresh strawberries and a old fashion vanilla butter frosting from my mothers Betty Crocker Cookbook. This cake embodied the simple eligance of my brothers wedding.
My Sisters Baby Shower
Emma is my neice who I adore. I made these 4 cakes before she was born for my sisters babyshower. The 4 cakes are strawberry cake layered with fresh strawberries and cream cheese frosting. The piping for this dessert was clean and simple to go along with the playful girliness of the baby shower.

Upon viewing my blog I realized how dry it is. To give you an idea of what I love most, I brought my pictures. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words...
