As October rolled around, I found myself realizing my nephews 2nd birthday was in a few short weeks and I still needed to find a way to make a cake look like a cars race track. Nick (my nephew) is obsessed with the Disney movie Cars, so rightfully so I made him a personal cars cake and 70 some other cupcakes for the huge guest list. It was not an easy task but it was well worth it to see my nephews eyes pop out there sockets when he realized that Lightning McQueen and Mater were on top of his Birthday cake. The cake I made was funfettia with a cream cheese frosting. The food Cars special food coloring can be found at most party stores. The street is crushed oreos and the grass in coconut dyed green.
